We've been trying to start up a new houseshare and came across your ad on Gumtree. You seem like the kind of sociable person that we'd love to share a house with, so I was hoping to find out a bit more about what you're looking for and stuff!
I'm in touch with a couple of other people who'd be up for sharing a house. I've met one, Richard, in person. He works as a recruitment consultant all around London, is aged 26 and although works quite hard during the week, loves to go out and enjoy his weekends as much as possible. The other is Rachel, who's getting a job in Media. She's 22 and seems to be interested in the same sort of stuff. So really, if we all get along, including yourself, we've got the right number for a decent houseshare.
We're particularly fond of the Angel and Islington areas and want to live reasonably close to the centre of London. We'd certainly consider other, nice, central areas too. Our budgets are around £600/month but this can definitely vary a little upwards and a lot downwards!
I am 25 years old, male, British, and an IT consultant whose base is near Liverpool Street. I do have to work in Chester from Monday morning to Thursday evening, but am around Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights hopefully in the house in London. These are the most important nights in my opinion anyway :) I'm an easy going, good humoured, sociable and tidy and looking for a place to rent because it seems as though you can get more for your money renting an entire flat/house.
My interests are general socialising, travelling, some sports (e.g. badminton, tennis, played socially), clubbing, pubbing, salsa dancing, meeting new, random people, computer stuff, films and music in general, good food and drink and trying new things, e.g. wine tasting and zorbing.
We want to meet people who'd be sociable, up for going out to bars etc., and don't spend all evening every evening locked up in their rooms!

Gumtree ad - Angel place
Hello!
We're a few people trying to start up a new houseshare and are looking for one or two others to join us, for a nice, social and friendly houseshare. You need to be of a similar age to us (say, around 20 to 28), but most of all friendly and sociable.
We've found a really nice flat in Angel and were just about to go ahead and give the deposit over when one of the housemates decided that she liked a place too far out for my liking. Unfortunately this means that we now no longer have enough people to do the houseshare! It's quite possible that one of the others will also move out further, so we're looking for one or two other decent people to replace them.
A little bit about the flat:
- 6 minutes walk from Angel tube - 5 minutes walk to Upper Street - dozens of bars, restaurants and shops! - 3 minutes walk from large Sainsbury's - Lovely, safe area - Is a flat, in a very nice block - Rooms good sizes, kitchen and bathroom slightly small but really not bad - £120 per week each - Available early June - Will go insanely soon and I don't want to lose it!

It's Rachel that's definitely moving out and Nicki might join her, so ideally we're after one or two girls.
