Well... ~£1000 I guess, if lucky.
= - £6000

= - £5500
The only things that will be paid for while there are accommodation, food, transport and other (tickets, souvenirs etc.) so I should put around £6000 in my NZ bank account. This will be divided as follows:

£4000 accommodation and food
£1000 other stuff
£1000 emergency buffer

This makes for a weekly budget of (factoring out the 3 weeks on mum tour of course):

£81.50 accommodation and food
£20 other
£20 buffer

Bear in mind that although this looks infeasible, if I spend a week helpXing, the budget will be £163 for food and accommodation, which is clearly more than enough, and would therefore be spread across and aid the budget in general. Well, it's a bit vague but I think it'll be reet.

Maybe Matt could show me how to make this better...

So far we have...

Spent:

  • £850 on flight
  • £50 on visa
  • £300 on Stray tour ticket

Predicted expenditure:

  • ~£350 on travel insurance
  • ~£2600 on mum tour ticket
  • ~£500 on food
  • ~£2000 on accommodation
  • ~£500 on tickets and other stuff (bit of an underestimate perhaps? Hard to gauge, but must include transport, souvenir buying, activity ticket buying and such... I will want to keep it to a minimum but still...)

Predicted incomiture:

  • Well... ~£1000 I guess, if lucky.

= - £6000

The only things that will be paid for while there are accommodation, food, transport and other (tickets, souvenirs etc.) so I should put around £6000 in my NZ bank account. This will be divided as follows:

£4000 accommodation and food £1000 other stuff £1000 emergency buffer

This makes for a weekly budget of (factoring out the 3 weeks on mum tour of course):

£81.50 accommodation and food £20 other £20 buffer

Bear in mind that although this looks infeasible, if I spend a week helpXing, the budget will be £163 for food and accommodation, which is clearly more than enough, and would therefore be spread across and aid the budget in general. Well, it's a bit vague but I think it'll be reet.
